Introducing CloudThinker AI Code Review for Azure DevOps
Ranked #1 on independent code review benchmarks. Now available for Azure DevOps.
CloudThinker's AI code review now supports Azure DevOps — joining GitHub and GitLab as a fully supported platform. Learn more about our benchmark results here.
Every pull request gets reviewed by specialized AI agents covering code quality, security, architecture, and operational readiness. The agents work in parallel, then an orchestrator synthesizes everything into a single prioritized review with severity classifications and fix suggestions.
If your team runs on Azure DevOps, here's a quick overview. For the full setup guide, see our documentation.
Step 1: Connect Your Azure DevOps Organization
Head to app.cloudthinker.io/code-review and select Azure DevOps.
Enter your Organization URL, Project name, and a Personal Access Token. You can generate a PAT from your Azure DevOps User Settings with the following scopes: Build (Read), Code (Read & Write), and Pull Request Threads (Read & Write).
Click Validate PAT to verify, then Connect.

Step 2: Configure the Webhook
After connecting, CloudThinker shows the webhook details you need — the URL, Secret token, and the Triggers to subscribe to. Azure DevOps requires a separate service hook for each event type.

CloudThinker webhook configuration — URL, secret token, and required triggers
In Azure DevOps, go to Project Settings > Service Hooks > + Create subscription, select Web Hooks, and configure each trigger using the URL and secret token from CloudThinker.

Step 3: Create Your First Pull Request
Open a pull request in your connected repository. CloudThinker picks it up automatically and within minutes posts review findings directly on the PR — a summary with the overall assessment, plus inline comments tagged with the responsible agent and severity level.

Why Azure DevOps Teams Use CloudThinker
Branch policies enforce rules, not judgment. Azure DevOps ensures approvals and passing builds before merge — but it doesn't catch security misconfigurations, performance regressions, or architectural drift. CloudThinker adds the code understanding layer.
Review quality stays consistent. Every PR gets the same depth of analysis, regardless of reviewer availability, time zones, or deadline pressure.
Human reviewers focus on what matters. CloudThinker handles the bug hunting. Your team focuses on business logic and design decisions.
Same system, new integration. This is the same multi-agent review already running on GitHub and GitLab — same agents, same intelligence.
